Rise Up Kingston Grassroots Fund Drive

Summer 2021

I am taking custom commissions for lung prints in exchange for donations in any amount to Rise Up Kingston. The prints come from a deep place for me. I’ve been making them while thinking about our unequal relationships to breath. Rise Up Kingston is a grassroots organization that works on housing justice, is committed to defunding the police and works towards a world without prisons. It is led by those experiencing racism, classism and gender oppression.

These are mono prints printed on high quality printmaking paper using oil based inks. Each print is unique and expressive.

Maggots and Men Art Party at Lair Fera, Brooklyn, NY Saturday March 14th 9pm- POSTPONED DUE TO COVID 19

Lair Fera is hosting a very special one-night-only pop-up art show featuring work celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the film Maggots and Men and the life of Flo McGarrell.  Set in a mythologized, post-revolutionary Russia, Maggots and Men re-imagines the 1921 uprising of the Kronstadt sailors.

This fascinating moment in history is re-enacted with an ensemble cast featuring scores of trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming actors.  Directed by Cary Cronenwett.

Featuring works of art related to the films by:

Amanda Kirkhuff, Ilona Berger, Andrew Wingler,  Heather Renée Russ, Dan Nicoletta, Texas Starr, Nica Ross, Aliza Shapiro, LA Teodosio, Margaret Tedesco.

Lady Scumbag World Premiere and Closing Party

Conceived and curated by the incredible Kim Ye. This project features my work Sea Bottom Fornicata as well as works by some of my favorite people- Ciriza and Donna Dolore!

Showcasing the work of contributors to Ladyscumbag and a special screening of LSB's Hollywood debut in ANGIE, this event is truly an ouroboros.

Like a snake eating its own tail, LSB decomposes the codes of femininity to create a new field of potential for femme rebirth and rejuvenation.
